Description
ARMOR VARNISH is a high quality transparent, hybrid water-based varnish. Enriched with new generation nano-modified acrylic - polyurethane resins, it’s ideal for application on concrete floors, microcement coatings, concrete & cementitious surfaces, water-based masonry paint and any type of structural surfaces. It has excellent penetrating capacity, excellent resistance to UV rays and adverse weather conditions. It has great mechanical strength and protects surfaces from wearing, tearing, humidity and staining. Preserves and enhances the natural beauty of the surface applied for decorative purposes. It is suitable for interior and exterior use.

Instructions for use
Substrate preparation
- Surfaces must be dry and clean from dust, unstable material, oil and rust.
- New surfaces must be cleaned with a wet sponge prior to application.
- Old, stained surfaces must be cleaned with OXY CLEAN CL 17 prior to application. Pressure clean wide stone surfaces if needed to remove dirt and use OXY CLEAN CL 17 for stagnant stains.
- Surfaces must be completely dry prior to application.
Primer
- Apply ARMOR VARNISH thinned 15 – 20% with water on new porous surfaces. Then proceed with the application.
- Old and already painted surfaces must be scraped mechanically with sandpaper: 120 then 240. Clean carefully the dust and proceed with the application of ARMOR VARNISH.
Application
- Stir material thoroughly before application.
- Apply with a brush or roller diluted up to 10% with water. For application with a spray gun (for vertical surfaces) dilute 10 - 15% with distilled water. Special attention must be given to even application.
- The first coat must be thinned up to 10% by volume with water.
- Apply the second coat diluted up to 5%, 3 – 4 hours after the first coat.
- Windows, doors, plants etc. must be carefully covered prior to application.
CLEANING
Remove as much material as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Clean all equipment immediately after use with water and soap.
REMARKS
Due to the wide variety of substrates and environmental conditions, a compatibility test is recommended in an inconspicuous spot prior to full scale application. Do not apply if rain is expected in 48 hours.
