Substrate preparation
- Substrates must be clean, free of oily residues, loose material, dust etc.
- Fill large gaps or cracks with elastomeric acrylic filler PRIME FLEX.
- Very porous and hot surfaces should be lightly dampened; aerated concrete blocks should be primed with solvent based acrylic primer ISOCRYL PRIMER DUR or waterbased acrylic primer ISOCRYL PRIMER DUR.
Mixing instructions
- Add approximately 8 kg of water in a clean bucket and add gradually under constant stirring 20kg of WALL STUCCO.
- Stir well until a uniform, lump-free, viscous mixture with desired workability is formed.
- The working time of the mixture is at least 2 hours.
Application
- Apply the mixture evenly on the substrate in two coats using a spatula.
- The first coat 1-2 mm thick covers all cracks and defects.
- The second coat must be applied when the first coat is fully cured (4-5 hours)
- For a perfect smooth surface light sanding is advisable after the drying of the second coat.
- Surfaces are ready for painting within 3 days using SWAN acrylic or emulsion paints.
