Description
ANTIGRAFFITI COATING is a high quality two component polyurethane coating, suitable for protecting building surfaces and walls from graffiti painting. Its unique polyurethane technology provides excellent resistance to water, solvent and extreme weather conditions. It does not yellow and chalk. It protects the coated surface with a clear membrane. Surfaces coated with ANTIGRAFFITI COATING can be cleaned depending on the type of graffiti using a high pressure hot water jet or the special GRAFFITI REMOVER cleaner which does not affect the substrate. Contrary to sacrificial coatings, it has a very long life cycle. It is also suitable for protection of graffiti art from vandalism. It can be applied on metal, concrete, plaster, dry-wall, MDF, wood, stone, marble. It is available in clear - transparent and other colors upon order.
ADVANTAGES
- Creates a clear - transparent protective membrane
- Does not allow paints to penetrate the surface – can be easily cleaned
- Allows the substrate to breathe
- Outstanding adhesion on most building surfaces
- Excellent UV and frost resistance
- Excellent resistance to solvents and chemicals
- Surface damage can be repaired immediately
APPLICATIONS
- Graffiti protection of public buildings, schools, bridges, houses, marble facades, industrial buildings.
- Protection of graffiti art from vandalism. A test must be performed before full scale application due to different types of paints used.
- Applied on horizontal and vertical building surfaces. It offers high wear and impact resistance.
- Suitable for marble, stone, visible concrete, cement, plaster, metal, wood, plasterboard, cementboard and like materials.
- Can be applied on emulsion and acrylic paints after a suitability test.
- Not suitable for expanded or extruded polystyrene, polyethylene and materials affected by strong solvents such as nitro. Not suitable as well for surfaces with low adhesion properties such as EPS & XPS polystyrene.

Instructions for use
Surface Preparation
Careful surface preparation will result in achieving optimum appearance and durability.
- The surface needs to be dry, clean, with no defects, free from dust and oily residue that can affect the coatings adhesion.
- Remove all loose material. New concrete or plaster need to be dry for at least 28 days. Humidity should not exceed 5%.
- Old coatings, oil, mould growth and dust should be removed using a high pressure water jet or a sander.
- Substrate should be dried and cleaned of any residue.
Priming
Loose - deteriorated substrate can be fortified – primed using EPOXITE DUR.
Application
- Mix carefully the 2 components taking care to ensure thorough mixing on the walls and the bottom of the pail.
- Allow mixture to stand for 10-15 minutes for the two components to react.
- Apply the first coat with a roller, brush or spray gun.
- The second layer should be applied upon drying of the first coating within 6 - 24 hours depending on ambient temperature.
- If required apply a third layer.
- The final curing of the ANTIGRAFFITI COATING is achieved in 14 days at 25oC.
