Instructions for use
Surface preparation
- All surfaces must be dry and clean, free from dirt, rust, wax, grease, resins and other contaminants that would affect adhesion.
- New or bare wood: sand the surface thoroughly. Remove dust.
- Previously finished surfaces: previous finish does not need to be removed if in sound condition. If in poor condition remove finish with paint stripper and sand smooth. Remove dust.
- Metal or high gloss surfaces: remove gloss by sanding to lightly roughen surface in order to ensure adhesion. Remove dust.
Application
- Stir thoroughly before and during use.
- Apply with a brush in the direction of the intended wood grain.
- Should a second coat be desired, allow first coat to dry for at least 12 hours. High humidity or low temperature will extend drying time.
- Follow with the application of PGP FAUX WOOD FINISH in order to achieve the wood grain finish.
