Instructions for use
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Choose from the SWAN Colourmix colour card the tone you like.
- Underneath the colour sample you will find the amounts of colour required.
- Select Base SWAN for colours with that indication; for all other tones, use any SWAN acrylic or emulsion paint desired.
- Add SWAN Colourmix colour at specified amounts. If you choose colour tone “99”, add 4ml (four syringe lines) from syringe No1, and 2ml (two syringe lines) from syringe No10 and stir well.
- All colour amounts are calculated for 1kg of white colour. This means that if we need 5kgs of colour tone “99” we must add 4ml x 5=20ml from syringe No1 and 2ml x 5=10ml from syringe No10.
REMARKS
- Always mark down the amount of colour added each time (e.g. on the lid of the container), so that you can mix the same tone at a later time.
- By adding extra colour from the syringe you can darken the colour. It is therefore better to start from lighter tones.
- All SWAN Colourmix colours can be mixed with each other. You can experiment with the colours and create a colour tone which does not exist in the colour card.
- Make sure about your choice, by trying the colour you have mixed on the surface you want to paint.
- By adding drops of paint from the syringe, you can darken the tone you have selected. It is therefore better to start from a lighter tone.
