CL 38 TEAK CLEANER is a highly effective cleaner for teak and other types of tropical wood. Its unique concentrated formula enables easy removal of stains and weathering from exposure to environmental attack. Restores the original appearance of wood. APPLICATIONS
CL 38 TEAK CLEANER is suitable for many types of tropical wood such as teak, iroko, bangirai, merbau, meranti as well as other types of exterior wood such as pine, fir, oregon etc.
- Restores the color of faded garden furniture such as tables and chairs, boat decks, outdoor wooden garden decks, seafront and pool decks.
- It is also suitable for any type of unvarnished wood construction such as pergolas, flower pots, fences etc.
- Regular application will help prevent the wood from greying and maintain the original colour and appearance.

Instructions for use
- Wet the surface to be cleaned and spray / apply the cleaner evenly.
- Scrub the surface across the wood grain with a scrub sponge or soft brush to remove dirt and residues.
- Leave the cleaner on the wood for few minutes and scrub the surface again.
- Rinse the whole area well with water, brushing at the same time to clear the grain.
- Allow surface to dry out completely before applying TEAK OIL or DECKOIL.
Remarks
- Before use, test on an inconspicuous place.
- If the wooden surface was previously sealed with a film forming finish such as varnish or enamel paint, the finish must be completely removed with STRIPP N’ CLEAN MERCOLA prior to application.
- Do not thin or add other soap to this product.
- The cleaner is very effective so care must be taken not to dull any paint and fiberglass or anodized aluminium.
- Wet the surfaces well prior to application and keep the cleaner to the wood area.
- Rinse well immediately after scrubbing.
- Do not use chlorine or other unsuitable cleaners for your teak wood, since they will destroy the wooden surface.
