Description
ISOMIX TILE GROUT is a cement-based acrylic ceramic tile grout for filling wall and floor joints. It contains high strength Portland cement, carefully selected fine fillers, acrylic resins and special additives, which offer excellent grouting even on difficult surfaces. It is suitable for interior and exterior use. It is classified as a type CG2 grout according to EN 13888.

- It is suitable for grouting tile joints on vertical and horizontal surfaces for interior and exterior applications.
- Grouting of low absorption tiles on various substrates where high adhesion and moisture resistance are required.

Instructions for use
Substrate preparation
- Tiles must be fixed in their position and tile adhesive must have completely dried.
- Joints must be clean, free of oily residues, loose materials, dust etc. Remove any residues of tile adhesive and plastic joint crosses.
- Joints should be lightly dampened before application.
Mixing instructions
- Add 1 –1,5 Lt of water in a clean bucket and mix gradually under constant stirring adding 5kg of ISOMIX TILE GROUT. Caution: the addition of excess water may cause colour fading.
- Using a low speed electrical mixer stir well till a uniform viscous mixture is formed.
- Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes and stir again.
- The working time of the mixture is 30 - 90 minutes. Periodical stirring is advised while avoiding the addition of more water.
Application
- The mixture should be applied uniformly on the joints pressing firmly to fill all gaps with a rubber trowel – or a squeegee.
- Spread the grout in a diagonal direction to the tile edges, in order to fill the joints completely.
- Excess material should be removed after a while using a wet sponge or cloth.
REMARKS
- Surfaces are ready for grouting within 24 hours for floor applications and 12 hours for wall applications.
- Periodical stirring is advised while avoiding the addition of more water.
